Our Mental Health First Aid and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills training programs are both listed on the National Registry of Suicide Prevention Evidence-Based Practices, having been proven clinically effective through testing and research.
Our Mental Health First Aid also is endorsed by the National Council on Behavioral Health and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training is the most widely used suicide prevention training program in the world.
Our trainers are both long-time listeners and nationally certified instructors in Mental Health First Aid and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training.
Each trainer has undergone a week of intensive training by Mental Health First Aid USA in mental health awareness and crisis response skills. They must teach at least three mental health first aid classes per year to maintain their certifications and are regularly evaluated by experts in this training.
