Our next Caring Contact Crisis Counselor training will run from February 12th through April 9th, 2025.
The 11-week hybrid training class (in-person and remote) will meet from 6:30 pm-9:30 pm.
Included in the training, our Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training class (ASIST) will be held Saturday, March 15th, and Sunday, March 16th from 8:30 am-4:30 pm, both days are required.

The course includes dynamic and interactive presentations by guest experts in active listening, grief recovery, mental health issues and suicide intervention. You will develop the ability to listen actively, assess the needs of someone in crisis and provide empathy and support.
Volunteer Listener Training is taught by trainers who are long-time listeners and nationally certified instructors in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training.
