The Summit Foundation donates $14,000 to Crisis Listening Line Caring Contact

“On July 16 the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline will change its 10-digit phone number to “988”, making it easier for those in emotional distress to get the help they need. With this change will come an increase in calls to Caring Contact”, said Mary Claire Givelber, Executive Director of Caring Contact. “The Summit Foundation’s generosity will ensure that Caring Contact has more trained listeners available to answer these calls.”

Caring Contact Receives $15,000 Major Grant from The Northfield Bank Foundation

Caring Contact on Friday announced it has been awarded a major grant in the amount of $15,000 from The Northfield Bank Foundation to support building hotline capacity for the launch of “988” in 2022.
